Sherlock bakes a cake.Sherlock opened his eyes and looked at the clock.

"…Suppose I'd better make an effort." Rolling his eyes, he heaved himself out of his chair and slouched to the kitchen. "Now…cakes…" Sherlock deftly pulled a dog eared book from the shelf. It was John's birthday, and he'd decided to actually do something for it. Not like last year, when his forgetting and ignoring of the occasion resulted in quite a nasty and icy silence.

"…I wonder what kind of cake…Birthday….certain recipe…?" He muttered, flicking through the pages. "…just flour…eggs…sugar…" Sherlock slammed the book shut. "Pfft. It's

John! Get the Aspirin! (fanfic)Sherlock blearily blinked and grimaced, a headache tearing through his head.

"Oh Christ...." He tried to sit up, his white sheet slipping down his chest. Pressing the base of his palm to his forehead, he muttered "Never again." Frowning, he shouted out.

"JOHN! Get the aspirin!!"

He proceeded to realize an hour later that John was not home; not realizing how badly his flatmate's migraine was, he had gone on to the clinic. Instead of getting up to get his own aspirin, Sherlock proceeded to text John every 3.7 seconds (on average) to request aspirin and other drugs until John, fed up, came to help.

"Oh for god's sake Sherlock..." John barged
